tlc
Sounds like fun although the show scene is not really me although I do like looking at al the beautiful doggies!! RJ may definatley be interested, she has a show prospect in the wind in the future! Maybe we could talk he into having another shot with the boofy boy!! I have always wanted to go to a dog show with my camera but not sure what the etiquite is as far as taking photos of dogs being shown?? We havent been out and about much this week due to work and weather, it's been really ordinary. Planning a trip to Kilarney on Thursday if the weather is good. I went to point ritchie last thursday and it was great down there, the dogs have a ball. The walk way to the dog beach is closed so you have to climb down the side of the embankment, getting down was ok getting back up was a bit of an issue but got there in the end!! jerojath
tlc you would be fine to take pics at the dog show. Of course you wouldn't put them all over the net with peoples faces on them, but you can always crop them out. I have Thursday off so if you want some company at Killarney let me know and I'll see if I can fit it in around school/playgroup times etc. Haven't been there in a little while. tlc
Ok great, I am going with another friend and her two dogs are friendly and I am sure she would love to meet Tarni! I will let you know what time if we go. Think I will wait to see what the weather is going to do before I decide.

But I am going to the park instead, but JJ if you still wanna join me please do. I am going on my own.

tlc
Yea I headed up to AP about 12 ish, it was sooo windy!! But nice and dry, not that that would have been a problem as all my lot have had a bath this arvo! I am currently trying to convince the four of them (and myself) that there is nothing outside, they are barking like as if there is something out there and I'm to scared to go and see. :p My OH is at cricket he had a late game tonight, but should be home soon. Riley James
:D Very quiet in here! What's everyone been up to? Great shot of your girl Jess! Just noticed the Warrnambool Championship Dog Shows are coming up again in January. Guess I'd better shoot some entries off just in case I can be bothered going! Always a good excuse for a drink and a chat I spose. Maybe some of you guys could get along to it this year for a look. We could make a day of it.... champagne, cheeses, Mmmmmmm! Ooohhhhh sounds great to me but I request that we add chocolate to the chanmpers and cheese as I dont drink champers or eat cheese LOL But sounds like a great day out to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We could all bring our own chair some food and drink and make a bit of a party of it Not so sure on teh Boofulus one LOL INFACT I need to re register with dogs vic as I meant to do and forgot with moving house and all. And I cant have a new show pup and NO registration ;) Mind you pup is a little way off ATM as I still dont have a house to live in ;) TLC you can go happy snappy crazy I bet you would love it with all those puppas to snap ;) :D Tenties are you entering ?????? jerojath
Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! What sort of puppy are you buying? Will we see you around the show-ring? I'm sure YOU are aware, but there is no point buying a so-called "pure-bred" dog of a breed UNRECOGNIZED by the ANKC, because you can't show the dog as it is basically nothing more than a mutt. I 'know' someone who has recently done this and I just do not see the point. Obviously you could compete in agility & obedience etc but this will be as an ASSOCIATE entry due to the 'mutt' not being fully registered with DogsVic. But I am sure you know all this and will do it RIGHT! We could go to shows together! (and eat chocolate if you wish ) Yes! Sign up with DogsVic now and start learning! Riley James
Hi JJ Totally getting a recognized breed that I hope to show if all goes to plan Having said that this pup is to be a pet first ans foremost (having a family dog for My child is far more important to me than any ribbon) I will get my butt into gear and get my membership with dogs Vic back up todate As for the breed Haha I'm going to keep You guessing and the only hint I am Giving is it's a coated breed ( lucky I am a hairdresser) Would love to join you at the shows and eat chocolate But this is still a little way off as I have no house and a litter isn't planned as yet But I know my breeder is happy to be having a pup go to a prospective show home Cheers Janet
