I think it is JJ, a bloody big one... was the one you saw being towed by a silver/Grey ute with a canopy on it ????

Yes Teresa i was weeding when you went past, i saw you this time.....i actually got a whole garden bed weeded and it didnt rain...got my lawns mowed as well ........ the landlord did them on the rideon :) i never asked him he just came in the drive on it and did it......i have to do a trip into Warrnambool now and get some seedlings brighten up the garden a tad.....

Yes that's the one. It was pulled up at the showgrounds a couple of days ago and they had a shepherd out.

They must have thought I was an idiot, rubber-neckin' the way I was, but it's a bloody nice trailer and a very nice GSD! :)

Next time I see you GSD's I'll stop and say Hi!

Tenties I saw a bloke on a ride-on at your place the other day.... thought you'd had a feller move in! ;)

Thanks Jerojath. I didn't see you rubber-neckin... :) too busy toileting dogs! If you see us next time, be sure to say G'day!

We had the trailer custom made in 1999 for our trip to Q'land because we didn't want to leave any fur kids at home. It's done some miles over the years, but is one of the best investments we've ever made.

Tenties....isn't it nice to have such thoughtful landlords. Sounds like they're worth their weight in gold. Do they by any chance own a browny coloured dog? There was a lady walking one up that service road near your place when we drove past and I thought it might have been your landlady?

Can't help perving on a good looking Shepherd!

I noticed because it was a really nice young dog and I so rarely see a really nice GSD these days.

I nearly stopped for a better look without even knowing who it was! I wish I'd known... I would have stopped for a chat.

 I'd love to know which dog you saw. My youngest girls are almost 7 years. I have a couple of almost 9 year olds and the rest are almost 12 years old.

tlc - hope your smile is back to normal real soon. I'm still deciding on a bridge or implant for a tooth I lost a while ago. I'm very self-conscious of it. I'm leaning more towards the bridge, but still not 100% sure :)

Jerojath....hope the creepy crawlies are all safe until the sparky gets there. How are you keeping them warm without heating etc? Not in your bed I hope :):)

Thanks Theresa, my smiles quite good with the plate in, without it bogan central :)

I could have had root canal to try to save the tooth but the dentist said there would be every chance it might not work and I'd need plate anyway. Just worked out today I paid more for my new teeth (3) than I did for my first car :)

Do you have a pic of your pack all together? Have you seen my family portraits thread in the photo section?

Well the weather started off a bit iffy and looked like rain but once we got walking it cleared and it was lovely and warm and suprisingly no wind at Albert park today. Also the grass has been mowed up there so it is much shrter now than it was on the weekend!

Jj how did you go with you fix it man?? Hope you didn't do to much damage!

;) Yep, I could have had the root canal on mine, but when they told me it might not work anyway, I thought why bother? I did try a filling at the suggestion of the dentist, but within a week I was crying with pain so badly that I begged her to pull it out :(

No, I don't have pics with them altogether as they don't all get along with each other. I can run Vegas and her mum together with one of the boys. I can run any of the girls with one of the boys, but I can't run all the girls together or the boys together - although in the past I could run certain boys together. Also, because we have the chooks and sheep, only the trusted ones are allowed near them. Some of the others would probably just like to taste them ;)

No, I haven't seen your family album. In fact I haven't been to many other sections on the forum. I'm not really a great one for forums full stop, but I'll be sure to go and take a look. :)

 wow it sounds like musical GSDs at your place.

Heres a little funny story I think you will find funny. My nephew 9 about to turn 10 for years has wanted a dog but his parents won't get him one as he is the sort of kid that loves video games etc and they think the novelty of having a dog will wear off and they will be left to look after, train, care for the dog etc which would be fine but they both work and don't have time etc.... BUT heres the kicker a few years ago they said to him if you could get a dog what sort of dog would you like, and he piped up and said a GSD my sister looked at me as if to say wtf?? I knew what he meant and she said whats a GSD, he promptly oh mum don't be silly you know its a German Shepard Dog :D apparently he had been studying up on dog breeds on the internet unbeknown to his mother ;)

Anyway his tastes have changed over the years he now wants a POODLE!! Funny his reason for wanting a poodle is they have cool hair cuts and can do awesome tricks. He loves my guys and his mother thought for sure he would say he wants one the same but no he wants a pure bred ;) He is a great kid and I wonder if he will still want a dog as he gets older. They have told him that he can have one when he is old enough to buy it himself!

Na they didn't even give it a second thought, they go away to much and in general really don't have time to give a dog the attention it needs, so as much as I am sad he won't grow up with a dog I think they are doing the right thing in not getting one.

He loves my lot and I think when I go to visit he looks forward to seeing them more than me

I've had to teach him how to train them, tricks general obedience etc as he was doing his own thing with them and generally confusing them  it is so cool, he can walk all four of them together heeling nicely beside him, he can get them all to stay then call them one at a time to come, and he knows all their little tricks as well. He even makes up a little agility course for them and they love it. No wonder they come home exhausted, it's like boot camp!!
