Yes he is mine his name is Bailey. I had wanted a Birman since I was about 12 so I waited about 20 years for him he is a lovely boy, not much of a people cat, he usually hides if we have visitors. He is a beautiful boy.

Did mum tell you we lost our best mate Peppi on the 14th Aug and then his son Red two weeks later? :D :(:( Pep was a month short of turning 14 and Red was almost 12. I haven't felt much like socializing lately, can't stop missing them.:)

Big :o to you and Terry on the loss of your two boys, it must leave one hell of a hole in your hearts :cheer:

it would have been chilly.

I dont think dogs know that word tlc  What beach was it Jess ???? How's the weather . i had to clear more branches from the drive and out the back yesterday ?? bloody shocking isnt it although the sun is out again at the moment, but for how long ???? we have water everywhere again, cant mow the lawn's again and it's growing like blazes....

Hey tez, i bought Roger 4 more girls , he think's it's super great and is forever showing off to them, i laughed at him the other day doing the Rooster dance saying ,....quick come here i found something..... then, when the girl's went over to look , he jumped them  ;) any wonder they run away from him all the time....

Oh by the way i swapped Roger back as he was wanting back in and Randy has been excepted by his harem now even that young upstart bitch of a pullet

GSD's you forgot your egg's, now i will have to have an extra omelette  not that i need anything extra  but my omelettes are now bright orange/yellow which i love , better than being pale like supermarket egg's oh well i will try to remember to bring some down next time... how about some new chook's ??? $2 each i could bring a couple down with me ???? i'm thinking of getting some more for the egg's ( to sell )

Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone. It never gets any easier losing good friends no matter how long you've been in dogs. Some are simply special and I've been really blessed to have known and owned some of the best. :)

Tenties, that was us tooting on the way home. ;) I remembered the eggs when I got to mums!!

As for some new chooks...we've been thinking about it since we lost the old girls, but the rooster is a real shit- head and tends to exclude new girls and chases them away for some reason. He never really accepted the brown chooks we got a few years ago, just tolerates them now, but at least he lets them in the chook house at night. Terry and I raised him and 3 girls after a kinder project. They were the left overs that didn't get a home. If Terry ever gets their run in order, I'd like to take you up on the offer, but for now I'd be worried the rooster wouldn't let them in their kennel at night and a fox would get them - which is what happened in the past.

Great pics Jess. That's one thing I miss since moving here...the beach! When we lived in Geelong we were always down the beach with the dogs. Now we have to settle for rain puddles!

That is a beautiful cat tlc!

That was just inside the mouth of the Hopkins Tenties, as you can see it was incredibly foamy and really rough out further.

It wasn't that chilly, actually it was quite mild when I went down. They certainly weren't forced into the water against their will

GSDs I love the beach, it's a bit of a drive from here but I normally get down there a few times a week in summer. :)

Would be nice to see a smidge of spring at the moment, am totally over this weather

I'm with you Jess this weather is really pissing me off now, and I quite enjoy winter but so much rain im well and truly over it!!

3 of my little cherubs decided today 5 minutes before I went to work to have a zoomie race around the back yard in and out and under trees through all the water lying around. Needless to say they were black from the tummy down, and I was well suitably unimpressed since they stay inside when I go to work!!

Mine are like your too Jess it could be minus 1 and they would still swim, the water looked so cold with all that foam!

Love the piccies Jess. Jane would be in there too. She wouldn't care if there was an iceberg in the water and yet shes the one thats under the doona at night so she must feel the cold! So far the only time Gus has got wet is accidently when he fell into a rock pool following Jane. He's abit precious!

Tenties, glad the boys are settling in. I should get my Roger some more girls ( I know the present two would love that as they are abit sick of being jumped on!) but the chook run is so soggy at the moment I couldn't cope with introducing new ones. Oh for a week of fine sunny days...at the moment it feels like we are never going to dry out!
