;) TLC thats not a bad road, its a bad road when it take 4 4WDs to get 1 car out  I can do that track in my commodre at 60kms

It the troopie has mud coming in above the door seals its a bad road

Yes, and I'VE SEEN your Troopy with mud over the door-seals..... any pics?

Got the whole thing on video ;)

Have a stack of 4wd photos, its great to get out with experienced 4wd drive poeple that have respect for their cars and the enviroment, they are a wealth of information, although we dont get out any where like we used too.

Cant wait to get the camper trailer done, then we are going to be doing heaps or raod trips off the bitchium.

:D :) I have to agree, that's not a bad road...at least you can still dodge the potholes...

Yep the dodging is easy, its not a bad road, dont even loose traction at 60kms, suppose it depends on what driving skills you have and how well you know your car.

Had the commodore in getting its under car saftey check this week, nothing wrong with it ;) should be good for another 12 months. Although I will be glad to sell it.

My OH has a Project car in our shed too, must be a guy thing, all I know is that it breaks the bank everytime he wants to do something to it, the latest was a super charger  and he wont let me drive it  cause he knows im a much better driver than him and ill put him to shame. It has serious power, Like really scary serious power he is thinking about drag racing it.

This is the shocking road that I was talking about down basin track, this section is just before the boat ramp.

Nice to see these GOOD Victorian roads  at least Tassie doesnt have a monopoly on goat tracks

There is a road near a really pretty beach here it is so bad I often joke about putting stack hats on the dogs in the trailer, in the event they get brain damage, hmmmm may be it s too late

By the way TLC just love those lovely shots of the dogs all of them, just great

I know this is  but I have to know.... what sort of car is it?

And tlc - what does your OH have?

Before I had kids I was always into cars - used to race early (70's) Mazdas. With a bit of work I could get their weight down to a little over 700kg and the BHP to around 500! That's naturally aspirated too; my Turbo (T04) was around 600+BHP!

That car would do the 1/4 mile in 9.88 seconds. Sorry, I'm no doubt boring you all, but your Hubbies would love it!!!

Hi JJ, Your racing days sound like fun!!

My OH's car is a VT SS Commodore, GEN 3, it has 350 chev, mild cam and super charger, and a 3000 stall converter. he said it is 323 kilowatts at the rear wheels, I guess you know what that all mean??

He says he is gonna drag it but I really cant see it myself as it hardly ever leaves the garage, it is like his baby

Guys they sure do love thier cars!! Ill have to point out your place to my Oh and tell him if he is ever driving the SS past to stop and say hi. His mini truck sounds unreal!! Your little red car is awesome, why you wanna sell it?? Before I had my doggy mobile  I had a brand new rav 4, I loved it but after I got Lacy it just wasnt practical for the dogs so we traded it in for the wagon, I only had it for 2 years I loved it but needed more room when I started collecting doggies  We got a great deal when we sold it the wagon and a big fat cheque!!

Cant wait to see Tims mini truck, how long does he think it will take him to do it up?

WoW! All those cars sound great! Who'd have thought!

I love my cars and miss them, but I just can't afford it now I'm doing the family 'thing' - gotta get ones priorities right, 'eh?

One fond (?) memory I have was when I was living between Melbourne and Portland and wanted to get home (Portland) quickly after work one Christmas Eve. I was in my little RX-3 coupe (13B Peripheral Port/ 51mm IDA Webber etc for those that know!) and was flying along the princes toward Warrnambool. Got caught on radar and pulled over (eventually) and was caught doing 156kph. I said to the officer: "What? Couldn't have been doing THAT!" And he said to me: "I got you at that speed on the brakes!" Bugger! Would love to have known what I was doing.... speedo wasn't at all accurate! Lost my licence for a long time.

Even now after all these years, I always triple-check my speed coming into town near the Premier track!

Quoll - forget about the rose... I need a new martingale show lead! :)

Now. Back to dogs....................

How can I resist  It s a deal.

Speaking of cars, we use to have a Rambler Hornet in the good old day BC ( before children ) and OH also had an Austin Healy Sprite. And the big thumping 351 V8 Falcon LOL.

Now it s all more practical 4 wheel drive, mind you he does go and play with the boat.

Hi Guys, I had an interesting afternoon with Maws today, firstly before I met up with her, me and my lot went to the park and Leo bought Billy along for his first run since he got attacked, Im sure you all would have seen the article in the paper and my post in general around 2 weeks ago, he was really good not scared and happy to have a play with no sign of timidness at all, so he will bounce back fine. So anyway we were all having a walk, me and my crew, and Billy and 3 other doggies and you will never guess who found a pile of Pooh to roll in, Bl**** Tully as she does  so I thought Ill have to go home and bath her. then Maws txt me to see if I wanted to go with her to the doggy was out the road so I thought right perfect I will wash Tully while im there, so off we went I dropped the other 3 at home and off we went, I have some photos to share of the event  just thought they were cute!!

Maws and Migs first time in the big tub,

Then we had a bit of a mishap, Shan locked her keys in the car. so we put the dogs in my car while we got them out we were very resourceful as Shan had left the window down a smidgen she got a wire sparkler and made a hook and hooked it around the keys and out they came.

Heres the dogs looking on in my car.

And Little Tully Jo all rugged up.

So alls well that ends well as they say, just thought Id share the pics, Maws and Migs were very very good for thier first time in the big tub!!

Love the look on Mingaloo's face!

I'm thinking I need to change lives with you guys...even with the keys incident!

Had an absolute crap day at work so decided to take Jane up the mountain for a walk and ....it RAINED again!!! Just when I was kinda almost getting used to dry feet. Which reminds me to ask...any suggestions for good comfy waterproof footwear for long walks in long grass!?.
