Yeah the vet said coz he has been vaccinated for KC that why he only has mild case, have some pills to pop and keep him warm, dry and away from others... Have no idea where he got it from, was at the off lead park on wkend so maybe a fur kid up there had something.... Oh well can't be helped now... To all with KC, yeah it sucks butu hopefully they will all be over it fairly soon. Mawson tends to get it pretty bad but none yet this season... I'm sceptical about the vacc, but Maws has always had them cause he does dog school and boards at RSPCA, but wouldn't do it past puppy if I had a choice. No KC at RSPCA yet, fingers crossed... Well doen RJ, please let us know what title that is. JJ, sorry about your little pup, but good that she was warm and well cared for for her short time. Hope to see the rest of you all soon. tez Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 With Jane, The cough sounded like she had something caught in her throat so she went cough cough dry retch. She is on a weeks course of antibiotics as a preventative and she had 5 days of metacam to decrease the inflammation in her throat and a soft diet to be kind to her sore throat. Apart from the first night when she went 'cough cough dry retch' every 10 minutes, she has been fine. Our vet said that she can be as active as usual and she seems as bright and nutty and we have been careful not to be around other dogs for 10 days or so. I will ask about the KC vaccination at her 16 week visit to the vets. I'm sorry for the other dogs...mostly because it isolates them from their mates...no fun! tlc Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Hi Shannon, No worries about the walk, My lot have not been fussed at all about walks this week, we got a quick one in with Pandii on Wednesday arvo before it rained and I have just been going for short ones on the other days, think my lot are still tired from their big trip. Riley James Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 TLC, No party, Spent all the money on the camera i got myself the canon 450D that comes with 18-55 and 55-250 lenses both with IS and then I went and got a canon 50mm 1.8 lense as well :) Now am trying to find out where I can do a good photography course that deals with the SLR's and is not too basic. The course I did was reasonably basic and it did have some basic photoshop as well. It was with Mike kibblewhite through tafe, i think he is running another one this year may have gone by already. If you want the co-ors name and number pm me and ill send it through. Tanya, how is Bruno doing?? Hope hes feeling better. Jane is fine, Tic. Shes invincable at the moment...nothing will stop this girl bar a tranquillizer dart meant for a grizzly bear! We start puppy school in Camperdown next week. When I paid for it today, I was relieved to find out that most of the other puppies are pretty robust so hopefully she wont do too much damage with her enthusiasm. tez Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 Sorry Tic...I wasnt very clear...Jane is going to puppy school at Camperdown on Wednesday nights for 4 weeks starting next week And she will be starting at Brierley from next Sunday week as we have to be in Melbourne this Sunday. Thought it would be good to do puppy school in C'down mostly for added socialisation opportunities and maybe meet a friend for regular walkies ( if she dosent disgrace) wheras Brierley is more long term. I havent been for a couple of weeks like I said cause ive been away and I should know about the long weekend but I cant for the life of me remember.
