hotchick
Yesterday my beloved 10 year old German Shepherd cross Rotti had to be PTS. She went paralised (spelling) in the back legs and couldn't control going to the toilet. I know it was the best thing to do is to put her to sleep so she would not suffer as she couldn't walk. :p TO YOU SASHA I love you Sasha and i always will. You've been in my life for 10 years and not quite sure what i will do with withiut you!! :p lOVE YA SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!!!!! mita
Cynthia, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Sasha was loved greatly...& you did the best thing for her by helping her gently to doggie heaven. I know just how hard it was....even while you knew it was the right thing for Sasha. Our 16 yr old sheltie also could no longer control her back legs &, with heaps of love, we gave her the gift of being free from pain & fear. Sasha's spirit will be in your heart forever....& her wonderful memories will be in your mind.

V.A.H.
Soo sorry to hear this news!! Hugs :p It is hard to let them go, as I had the same thing, a Toy Poodle, my first boy, who lost all quality of life, deaf, blind, arthritis and thensuddenly deteriorated and overnight couldn't function physically,eg fell into hsi food and water and couldn;t recover any balance!! So. he had to be lovingly taken to the vet also, after 17 yrs 2mths and two days of utter joy and devotion.I still see him as a young boy endlessly fetvching a ball for my late husband--he was so great a pet, such other losses bring a tear still!! I know they wil be waiting at rainbow bridge for us, so lets hope memories and photos help us to let go and recover. Cheers, and my best wishes to you!! :p
