Ravyk
one of my dogs vomited earlier...there were no bits, just white foamy stuff...i was wondering if it might have been because of the heat/heat stroke [got to 45.7 at my place] the wierd thing is they've been inside almost all, day and drunk plenty of water. he seems fine now-ready to play as per usual... should i be worried or will he be fine?? [its forecast to hit 44 tomorrow] Edited January 28, 2009 by Ravyk
VJB
Maybe he drank more than normal, and brought a bit up. That can sometimes happen. I wouldn't be worried unless he shows any other signs at this stage. Glad to hear he was kept out of the stifling heat.
astonnolan
Hi There, When my 2 Boxers drink too much water they do this also. I usually see it when they are playing in the sprinklers, gulping down heaps of water. I freaked out the first time, but they continued like nothing happened, so not too much of an issue for them. Missymoo
My maltese was sick like this yesterday as well, I asumed she was too hot as well. I gave her a tepid bath to cool her off.
Guest belgian.blue
Off topic a little but still about vomit .. Ivy had been enjoying some cat poo the other day and then came inside to spew it up on the rug .. then ate it again before I had realised what she was doing. There was a strange foul smell and I thought she had gassed. But no she was enjoying her cat poo again Rug straight into the wash ...
