kahell
Hi All My sister (CrazyWestie) and I recently tried introducing our puppies to each other. She has a 6 mth old Westie and I have a 16 wk old Yorkie. Miley (the Westie) attcked Mojo and bit him. He had a limp for the rest of the day  Miley is usually really good with dogs. Mojo has only been around the other dogs at his breeders. He was barking and being quite aggressive towards Miley, despite being a third her size! We don't know what to do. We had envisioned having puppy play dates with each other and now that doesn't seem possible. Please help we are desperate for them to get along??? katy
Cosmolo
You definitely need to get a professional to assist you with both puppies after such an experience. Any advice over the net will just be guess work and given that a pup has already been hurt- it is not worth the risk. What area are you in? Perhaps a DOLer could recommend someone for you. A recommendation would be great. I am located in Winston hills, Sydney.
Cosmolo
I am not familiar with the areas of Sydey but i am sure another helpful DOler could suggest someone for you. Bumping for that helpful person
CrazyWestie
You beat me to it! I was going to come on and ask if anyone knows a professional trainer in the Parramatta or Blacktown areas. It was a pretty terrible experience for poor little Mojo, thankfully he was ok. I thought you should know that Miley was on the other end of the stick today. She had to sit next to Tasha ( 4 yr old black toy poodle) in the car today and Tash didnt like Miley looking at her so gave her a quick correction (Tasha had a tuft of white hair in her little black mouth!). The whole thing with Mojo is strange because Miley is so submissive to Tasha. Maybe we should throw them both in a room with Tasha so she can sort them out......totally kidding. Anyway if anyone knows a good trainer we should be pleased to hear about it.
BittyMooPeeb
Hi CrazieWestie and kahell, I suggest starting a thread in the training forum explaining what happened and asking for a reccomendation for a behaviourist. You'll get a lot more responses in that section Best of luck. (I do agree that professional advice is needed here, and as soon as is possible would be best for both dogs)
