sandgrubber
It could be argued that most dogs are pups for their whole lives. The evolution of Canis domesticus out of wild Canid stock seems to have involved neotony . . . that is prolongation of infantile characteristics into adult life . . . particularly with respect to behaviour. claireybell
My cocker is 14 months old and I think she will always be a puppy to me. Cockers never really get over that silly puppy stage which is the reason I adore them! My beagle X is definately still a puppy at 8 months old. She will always be known as the baby of the family!
