aus_k9gsd
Moreton Vet at Redbank Plains, i see Gerry King but the other vet, Jo i think her name is, is the one who came in at 2am and helped save Raidy, so they do 24hr call alot of the GSDCQ members use him as well as he does the hip/elbow xrays, i took a friends dog to be surgically A.I'ed and he let me watch, was very successful, from memory i think she had 11 pups They give 20% off the total of the account no matter, even the entire after hours bill i got 20% off where as some normally only give it off consult and dont include medications etc where as with them what ever the total is you get 20% off He ended up having to go to the after hours emergancy at Underwood, they are also fantastic but no discount there i have a $2000 bill eww BigBen thats a bit gross Thanks Jed and persephone
Jean26
Thankyou again everyone for the well wishesIts working because i just spoke to specialist, he said Radar has improved dramatically today and is even eating, there have been no seizures at all So if he continues going this good, he will be coming home tomorrow  They just want to keep him in tonight for observation just to be sure I also called into my local vet on the way home to fix up an extra $60 i owed after Sunday morning and walked out with them owing me $160, they hadnt applied my CCC 20% discount on last few visits i think thats the first time in my life a vet owes me money and not the other way around, i am going to frame that receipt Phew! I'm so glad Radar is getting better! What a little trooper!! Sounds like you have Radar in good hands at the Vet Clinic. AWDRI
Just read this thread and had my heart in my mouth until I got to the last page and found he has improved and is coming home. I live in Cairns and we have toads by the millions. My best haul in our back yard in one night is 113. My boy Bud used to munch them and get high and I'd have to hose out his mouth. Thankfully he is a big dog and that was the only effect he ever had but I used to live in dread that he would bite into one and get a larger dose of the toxin. He doesn't do it anymore thankfully! Yayy to Radar being well again!!

aus_k9gsd
Thanks Jean26, he is home Belgrael - 113 in one night waste of space they are, shame they cant find anything to get rid of the lot of them thanks persephone and Rodina pomquest we will be there, we are normally with the Watts and there chihuahuas, but we will have plenty of time to get around an say hi to everyone laeral - he is a character, the specialist said they had him running around out the back and how he was a bit of a favourite here he is, he isnt as cute at the moment as he has hair missing as they superglue the oxygen tubes to there head
