Just Midol
Are there any types of grasses which are less likely to cause allergies from grass seeds?
Jessca
There's that buffolo grass (i think thats what its called) that does not really have any seeds. most types of 'turf' that you get (the ones that come in rolls, and cost a fortune) dont really have seeds. sorry i couldn't be of any more help. blacklabrador
I don't know if it's the seed part of the grass that causes allergies. Seeds certainly cause problems when they become embedded in flesh or eyes etc but I don't think they are the cause of generalised grass allergies. Just Midol
Vet thinks its the seeds as when the grass is short, no dramas, when it gets long, lots of dramas I think I'm just going to put pavers down in his run Edited December 27, 2008 by Lord Midol
blacklabrador
You mean pollens rather than actual seeds?
Baby Dragon
My dog gets a rash if he walks on wet grass. There are certain types that are more known for it than others, but I can't remember the names. Edited December 27, 2008 by Baby Dragon
Just Midol
You mean pollens rather than actual seeds? Dunno. Pretty sure she said seeds but I might be imagining things. I suspect flowers do it too so probably pollen? BabyDragon/Blossom, wet grass is actually better for him. If the grass is wet, he gets nothing!
