ness
So what your saying is I have been a bad slack handler and undeserving of a UD pass and a 190 in open :p ;) ;) . Oh well I'll put my lawyer hat on him and draft up a contact for next years trial passes :D .

DeltaCharlie
Hmm... haven't really thought too much about it as I'm fairly new to the whole trialling thing. Delta Agilty She should get her AD fairly soon, so long as the silly little mistakes are eliminated (and the judge stops waxing the damn table ) I'd like to try for her JDX by the end of the year too. Few passes in open courses and games would be nice too. Flyball I'm hoping to get her racing fairly soon. Her FD, FDX and FDCH would be nice. Obedience I haven't really done much training for obedience but she is a natural and they are constantly on my back about trialling her. I don't particularly enjoy obedience but she definitely has the skills for CCD and CD so if a spare weekend or 2 fits in I may go for a few passes. Not sure yet. Charlie Agility Charlie is the opposite for me, I don't want him to get titles If he gets the rest of his JD passes he may have to stop trialling as I don't think he is ready for excellent (if it wasn't for the fact that Delta was going too he wouldn't even be trialling yet). I don't want him to get his final ADAA elementary passes either coz then he would get his BAAD and wont be able to do elementary anymore. Considering he cannot weave more than 3 poles, he won't be able to enter anything at ADAA either. So for Charlie, I shall keep wishing for a dropped bar (I still want good contacts so he can't miss them ) in each run In reality though, he should get his JD and hopefully same games passes (so long as weaves are not involved ) Flyball He should get his AFCH pretty soon, depending on the number of comps we do he may even make it to 400 (and whatever title that happens to be, FM perhaps?) I would also like to do some more herding with Delta, they absolutely love lure coursing so we will do more of that, and lots of swimming and having fun together Edited December 19, 2008 by DeltaCharlie

Reddii
I've had a ball this year - have changed goals on the way through, but next year if the gods are kind: Xena will have her SAAD and maybe even MAAD titles in agility, her CCD and hopefully CD titles in obedience, plus crack the magic 400 point barrier in flyball. CK will have his AAD title in agility and CCD and CD titles, plus be just behind Xena in flyball. I'm not sure if we will compete in ANKC agility yet - there is already a lot on the plate. Oh, and both will have their FDE title in frisbee. What I really want though is for their ongoing good health to not change!!
The Spotted Devil
Dear Santa I think I will need a new Dalmatian. Mine seems to be broken. His recall is brilliant, his heel work is coming along nicely, he loves switching between both styles of 'finish', he thinks distance work is a hoot, his focus can be sensational and he's just a pleasure to work and live with Please, Santa, don't take away his madness, ratbag moments and frustrating ways as that is what makes him such a joy....no matter how many times I think to myself....."why you little %$@#%!!!" Seriously, with some more focus work over the Summer, I hope young Zig is ready to trial in CCD in the New Year and agility before too long. Training wise, I'd like to progress from "hold" meaning "pick up toy, hold for 3 seconds, then fling across room with as much force as possible" to "hold toy" P.S. I still want another Dalmatian
shoemonster
Molls I want a CD title, ET and to keep up the nice clean runs at flyball she's been giving me in the latter part of this year Ed I want a CD and an ET, and the start of CDX Most of all I want them to enjoy it, and for me to be a little bit more relaxed in there and be able to believe in myself
shoemonster
Found last years thread so we can all see if we achieved our goals! I havent checked mine yet http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...393&hl=2008 Tried to bump it but as its over 120 days old we can post in it without Troy unlocking it for us ETA OMG I didnt post in it What a pain! Oh well for someone with no goals I got 2 CCD titles and a FD FDX FDCh and an AFCh! Edited December 20, 2008 by shoemonster
shoemonster
Ok how bout the year before http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...=83821&st=0 Posted by: shoemonster 11th Dec 2006 - 06:54 PMI had a great year, I learnt how to clicker train and I met some fantastic people (esp Stella!) who have helped me heaps to understand this new fandangled thing called dog training! lol Next year I hope to start trialling in CCD and do some more freestyle and agility
The Spotted Devil
Nice find Shoey Well, I didn't end up trialling this year but I think that has been more about my raising the bar when I had a glimpse of what Zig was really capable of - in hindsight I'm really glad I didn't! We have started agility training but as soon as Uni finished the club went on Christmas break so I'll have to be patient TSD: Goals for '08 (12/12/07) I've been doing a lot of 'informal' obedience training with Zig at home....now it's really time to begin to put it all together! He's just turned one and is really beginning to mature mentally (no, really! )......I'd like to trial him in 2008 in CCD....been years since I've been in the ring I can't wait until we start agility training together....I know he's able to do light work now but I prefer not to risk his physical development and wait until he's 18 months old. leopuppy04
Leo - CDX, AD, JDX, SD & GD. Also would love to have some strong groundwork laid for UD (possibly ready for trialling). Love my boy, and with him, nothing is impossible . I want to work a lot on his agility building up his speed and drive throughout the course and keeping it up there. I want him to enjoy each and every trial we enter, pass or fail so that we just have a good time out there ;-). A score of 190+ in obedience would be icing on the cake as like Ness - I know he is more than capable of achieving that score Kinta - Aust Ch, CCD, CD, AD, JD. Same as Leo - I want her to remain her drivey self and be able to enjoy each and every time we are out there training and having fun! I don't really have any other plans I can pin point hehe well leo pretty much got there with a few exceptions being that we never entered a snooker or gamblers ring didn't get that 190 score though (well we did... just he never got the 'pass'... Kinta - well she didn't exactly go to plan. We got our JD, but obedience was just absolutely frustrating this year... on to 2009!
Gamby
Here is what I would like to do with Gambit during 2009. No. 1 - Get his last pass in CD so he can have fun in Open. He loves Open training with the exception of the heel work, Oh well, that will get better as I work with him over the holidays. No. 2 - For him to achieve his TDX or TCH during the 2009 Tracking Season. I was supposed to enter him in 2008 for his TDX trialing but missed out as I though he got his TD in 2008 when in fact he got it in 2007. I have a number of members from GODC and BDAG who are looking to trialing next year, so I might be a busy girl during the Tracking Season No. 3 - For Gambit to actually do some agility through 2009. He has one pass in Jumpers, so that would be the next thing to get his Jumpers Cert. Since I have had Gambit I have been unable to enter him in Agility trials at all because of other commitments. I know I have to decide which ones I would rather do, but to start with when Gambit could have done it he was too young, then he succeeded in Obedience and Tracking and the trial dates clashed. I wish you all a very successful 2009. Wendy
Ptolomy
Argh trailling goals for 2008. Hmm let me see.......................For me to have less blonde moments - or at least for my blonde moments to coincide with my dogs blonde moments so that I only fail half as many trials For the toller tree to stay empty for the year - ha - fat chance of that For me not to get lost on a masters agility or jumping course - ha fat chance of that For me not to forget my dumbbell, scent articles or seekback when I go to a country trial so that I have to beg borrow or steal somebody elses. For me to put the lid back on my jackpot containers so that I don't end up with sardine juice and steak blood all through my bag. For my dogs to stay fit, healthy and uninjured so that I don't get to fund three overseas holidays for my specialist vet again this year - ha fat chance of that So now if I pray to the right gods, the wind is blowing in the right direction, the planets are aligned and I can manage all of the above then I hope for CH CCD CD JD and AD titles for Lexi, OC for Scoota, two more UDX legs for Lara, CD CDX and maybe a UD leg, ADM and JDM for Beans and Blaize well see number two above may the toller tree stay empty Gees how funny is it to look back - missed out on the 2 x UDX legs and the CDX is still a work in progress with Beans - but managed to tick everything else off. Hey think the Toller Tree died due to a lack of use......
