Lizzy06
I have posted a few topics on my girl with Pancreatitis and Kidney problems. These Chicken treats were recalled almost a week ago now. They are still on supermarket shelves. My girls vet went to see out local supermarket and told them there has been a recall and explained what they do to dogs and to take them off their shelves. They ignored him and they are still selling them. My mum also works in supermarkets and they are selling them too. What do we do or who who do we go to to make sure they get taken off? Iam so angry if this happened with human food it would be a major deal!
Sheridan
Well, I'm going to take in a copy of the Kramar recall notice to my local Big W. Last week I pulled the Kramar treats off the shelf and asked them to check the Kramar recall notice. The breast strips were among the ones I pulled off. I went in yesterday and there were even more packets there. I left them, the first action obviously having been ineffective, and will take in the statement to check the numbers. If they're the same breast strips as per the recall I will ask to see the store manager. ETA: I just took some off the shelf in Big W and gave them and the recall notice to one of the managers. They had already sent some back and apologised for some still being on the shelf. Edited December 18, 2008 by Sheridan
