Kirislin
Just had a look, it looks old, I wouldn't touch a camera that they say they dont know if it works or not. Edited December 10, 2008 by Kirislin
chezzyr
Actually, looks to me like the EOS 500n or similar, 35mm FILM camera (not digital)
Kirislin
I think you are right Chezzyr, either they dont know how to describe it or they are duping people Question & Answer Answered On Q: Can you tell me how many mega pix this camera is? perhaps you should consider buying some batteries to make sure it works properly . Does it come with...more 10-Dec-08 A: Hi this is an slr digital camera, no mega pix as it is a standard 35mm camera, does not require softeware to operate. the bolded bit makes me think it's film. chezzyr
I agree Kirislin, I don't have a good feeling, in fact I am convinced it is a film camera, I just can't see enough of it in the picture. The placement of the buttons on top makes me think its a 500 N or similar. Am tempted to ask some questions myself

chezzyr
OK I have asked something but whether they respond is another thing. Film cameras are cheap these days, there is a 500 N in the USA, has similar buttons etc, item 120347747387 on eBay US.
Jessca
thanks for that Kirislin and Chezzyr. i know i read the question and was a little stunned by the answer, i have no plans of getting, luckily. it will be interesting to see what they respond Chezzyr. thanks again for all your help. chezzyr
I asked the seller if the camera opened at the back to accomodate a film or had a slot for a memory card. I just got a private response from them saying the camera has a slot (?) for a 35mm film so is not digital. The listing is still up there with the words digital and has not been fixed - worth reporting or not??
persephone
worth reporting or not?? I would.. It sounds as if they are totally ignorant of cameras.... and are just trying to offload it... Or are being deliberatley misleading...
chezzyr
I hate seeing people ripped off - there are several bids, how do you know one/some arent thinking "oh its the new model up from the 450d, let's buy it!". Innocent or not - it is still misleading as is.
