GotAnyBlacker
What tablets do you give a very small breed puppy that weighs 1kg? Can you cut tablets in half as the tablets I've seen start at dogs for 4kg?
charli73
We get Paratek worming tablets from our vet and depending on the weight we have to cut some in half... they do the trick! They are 1 tablet per 10kg (I think) and I give her 3.... They do have smaller tabletd though for different weights of dogs... I refuse to get supermarket tablets... becks
You can buy wormer as a paste or liquid and measure this out depending on the size of he dog.

ShesaLikeableBiBear
We have two sheltie puppies, when they were very small (i.e. 2,4, 6 weeks) we used a liquid wormer. We now use Sentinel Spectrum for very small dogs (up to 4kg). They are both about 1.6kg and we do not break the tablet in 1/2.
