Kirislin
I'm full of questions aren't I, here's another. Can you shoot some pics in RAW and then others just jpeg? I understand that when shooting RAW it does jpeg as well but can I take just one pic in RAW and the rest just jpeg or does the whole 'batch' have to be in RAW/ I hope this is making sense. I know what I mean
Vickie
You can switch from one to another on mine...with each pic you take.
Aubrey
Stick with RAW. If your photos isn't quite right, Photoshop will deal with a RAW picture better.... much more info and you can then adjust exposure, f/stop etc. JPEG is just for ease of use! chezzyr
Yes you can chop and change - you will need to go into your menu/info and do this I expect. Check manual if not sure. Not sure what your camera model offers in selections/combos etc. Raw chews up your memory cards quicker - and space on your computer. Something to keep in mind. Kirislin
it brings another question to mind. I dont have photoshop but my Canon came with software for altering/fixing photos. I've never heard of anyone using it though, seems most use photoshop or bought programs, is the canon stuff useless? chezzyr
Alot of people get on the photoshop 'band wagon'. This does not make other programs useless. In fact there are a number of image editing programs - even some you can download and use for free.
