MonElite
Quick question I have a DSLR Canon 450D Can I put a lense that fits a FILM canon camera onto my digital? I noticed on ebay there are some cheap lenses to buy, and I suspect they are for film cameras not for digital thats why they are so inexpensive. Luke W
The lenses must be EF lenses. Manual focus FD lenses can't be used on your 450D (well, you can buy adapters, but it's not worth the effort).
chezzyr
You can, if you are prepared to research re compatability issues, use an adaptor or live with limitations such as manual focus or only being able to shoot at a certain setting. I have successfully used non-ef lenses.
