Poor Bella Has Lump

Hey,

My baby girl is a maltese cross (maybe) and between 5-8 years old (maybe). See I got her from a lady who found her wandering the streets covered with fleas, rummaging through rubbish to survive and severely malnourished. She gained a little weight while with her for the first month and some of her hair has grown back from where she had scratched herself red raw. She's obviously been abused by her reactions and was treated by a vet for stress, poor girl can't get a break. She wasn't desexed and at the time was too weak to get desexed, plus with lack of funds I was pulling at straws for just the appointment let alone the $330 that they want to desex ect. NOW she had a lump on her mammary gland, second nearest to the back, which I believe has spread through her glands, at least the one down from the lump. It doesn't feel like her other side nor my other female's. Please tell me your personal experiences and ideas to help me and Bella out.

Thankyou,

Victoria

I second that a vet is the only way to go.

Yes it could be a cancerous lump but seeing you mentioned that she is not desexed it also could be Mastitis.

Lumps are not something to really fuss around with whe it comes to medical care. Go get the vet to take a fine needle biopsy.
