Evo And Principals

EVO, Innova & Cal Nat are really, really good foods. EVO is a super food. But we aren't using them because of the Pets Paradise connection. Pet Goods Direct is also owned by PP so the link is there.

I have decided to go the Aussie only route. Not just because of the recent problems but because buying imported stuff doesn't sit well with me. And let's not forget the dollar. But if I was really, really set on feeding a non-grain diet EVO would be looking pretty good right now..... But then there are the principals. But do you let them get in the way of your own furbaby????

I know California Natural is imported by PP but my Pet Goods Direct only sells goldfish and it is a really good dog food and the one I am feeding, Chicken and Rice, is designed for hypoallergenic dogs and it only has one protein source-chicken- and the only grain source is brown rice.

For that reason I will feed it as it is better for my furkids and if that means putting principles aside then I will.

I have yet to find an Aussie kibble that 1( my dogs will eat and: 2) doesn't go through them like a dose of Epsom Salts :)

I have been feeding CN to my cat & Innova to my pup. Didn't know about the principles. From being on other dog forums they seemed to be good foods. But they don't always have a fresh supply & I'm finding them hard to get.

What Aussie food are you feeding/going to feed?

Ivy is on Cal Nal now and her coat is so shiny you've got to wear sunnies to look at her. She really enjoys the taste too.
