Paula-
I've gotten half heads from the local market, and chopped them into smaller bits with a cleaver. Ewww... brains and other mushy bits went everywhere The dogs loved it though
anniek
chopped in half - let them have a good chew for an hour for a few nights then throw it away cheap entertainment - for all of us
wylie
Go for it. My dogs love them! They are given as a major treat about once a fortnight. The only thing they ever leave is part of the jawbone with its teeth. They eat them all and i guarantee my butcher is the same butcher as yours too. Nekhbet
oh they are GREAT! I used to pick them up for $2 YUP $2 from the vic market! so funny seeing a 6 month old Malinois on top of a pigs head trying to wrestle the ear off it I think it lasted her 3 days before it got festy and needed chucking
Greytmate
I walked in to a large kennel kitchen once and there was a big pot bubbling away on the stove. It smelled good so I went over and lifted the lid. There was a huge pig's head staring up at me out of the boiling greasy water, and I screamed and dropped the lid. Then everyone laughed and told me that boiled up pig's head was for the puppies' dinner.
