Anna H
My GSP pup is a bit tennis ball obsessed... I know they aren't very good for his teeth, so what alternatives are available that a good? I've tried replacing the tennis ball with a kong but he wont have a bar of it (he seems to think kongs are only good as food dispensers!), nor is he overly fussed on soft toys (he just wants to 'kill' these) Don't mind spending a little extra if it is good quality that lasts, also needs to be of a safe size for a GSP (Which tennis balls wont be for too much longer)
Staff'n'Toller
I buy: Chuckit Ultra you can buy them here, Vet Clinics and Pet Supplies should be able to order for you. Everlasting Fun Ball my dogs are wreckers but I haven't had one of these ruined yet, although some people on here say they have been wrecked. Other Cuz I haven't seen these available in Oz yet so I buy from Clean Run (they can't chew the feet off).
squeak
Try a product called "Air Kongs" - made from the same stuff that tennis balls are, but they leave out the abrasive bit. Made by the Kong company. I have seen tennis balls with squeakers and other odd shaped items. http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html http://www.vetproductsdirect.com.au/items.asp?Mc=Kong Edited November 23, 2008 by squeak

Anna H
Thanks guys... I went to the local pet supply store and found a catch ball by Aussie Dog Toys... looks pretty well made, and Ollie loves it. I think I'm going to order an Orbee ball as well as they look fab! Staff'n'Toller
My faves are the chuckit ultra balls, nice and light and most resemble a tennis ball.

Tiggy
Orbee dog toys are the best! My dogs love them. The ball on the rope is a favourite and they sell a tennis ball made from the same stuff.
Luke W
Here's the 'tennis ball': http://www.smittenpets.com.au/Planet-Dog-O...uff-Tennis-Ball Amazon seem to have a great range of Orbee balls...most of these I can't find in Australia. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=s...-keywords=orbee Edited November 23, 2008 by Luke W

sidoney
Another vote for Kong Wubba here, it's the favourite so far. And you can do some tug with it too.
