cashew
Have been noticing some moths in my house. Just wondering if they are dangerous if my dog ate one? I am super paranoid and frightened of them...any ways to prevent them? Eeks. Thanks in advance.
BigDaz
Sorry, cant answer your question, just agreeing with you, I hate moths. My two Staffies love to catch them and I havent seen any bad effects so far.
Kirislin
My Kibah eats moths, huntsmen and those big fat crunchy beetles all with no obvious affect so I hope they're not dangerous.
wuffles
My dog eats them too, they drown themselves in his water bowl and he goes and licks them up like they're a treat.

That just sounds like the lazy way to catch bugs!!
Abby
My pup loves chasing and eating moths, I prefer her eat moths than lizards Eww don't remind me! I found my dog with half a gecko when she was a puppy. Gross! Now there are heaps of Christmas beetles around and she loves chasing and 'investigating' them. cashew
Just last evening I saw my dog snapping in the air trying to catch a fly..he got it! He splat it out and ran away (maybe he doesnt like flies). How disgusting..I brushed his teeth after that  Did some internet search and the results show that moths are not poisonous per se. So should be okie if they eat a few--though moths are supposed to be bad-tasting! eeks. Not too sure about lizards though...
