OZ Grooming World
Recently bought a Mars Coat King, it does cut, not sure whether it is good for a Border Collie show dog?
JulesP
No don't use it on a show dog. You don't want to cut the coat and you don't want to pull the under coat out.
Dogsfevr
I never use them on the showdogs. We certainly use them in the salon as they are a god sent for the unruly coats that come in. I prefer to use a good old fashioned undercoat rake though that doesnt cut coats & works a treat.Had ours for nearly 20 now. With aborder a good comb through will work wonders
rudie
We use them on the show Beagles for thinning out necks but always a week or so out from the show. Id never use one on a coated show dog though.
