Ann - Camp Tailwaggers
Did you know that Dances With Dogs (or Freestyle, Heelwork to Music) has now been formally recognised by the ANKC and as from January next year, handlers will be able to compete for formal titles. Tricks are of course the start of Dances With Dogs ANN - CAMP TAILWAGGERS

BC4ME
Thanks to everyone at Camptailwaggers for a lovely week-end. Thanks also to Maree for having the patients to help us all with our own little troubles. I learnt so much that my headaches. It was nice to meet so many lovely people who all have the same interests in dogs. I think we are all home practising madly for the first competition in March. Well done everyone

Levi
Hi Kyliegirl. VIP Dog Club trains at Yatala (next to the VIP pet food factory) and offers dances with dogs .
MrsD
Levi & I both train at VIP & I would certainly recommend them . Maree the head trainer there is absolutely awesome, both as a trainer herself & as an instructor. If you are on the northside I can put you in touch with a small group who train on that side of town if you are interested.
kyliegirl
thanks for the info unfortunately im south west, about 30 min drive to the vip training centre, not too bad i guess but I am sure these $1 fuel prices wont last and I do not have a liscence as of yet. MrsD
Ahhh ok - don't know anyone out that way, sorry . ETA - your best bet would be to ask your local obedience club (probably the one at Oxley - Brisbane Dog Obedience Club?) if they are planning any classes or know of anyone in your area. kyliegirl
thanks mrsD, there is an obedience school just 10 mins drive from me, they seem to have alot going on so maybe they could help me later with agility and canine freestyle Will have to see.
