Inspiring Obedience Videos

WOW!

Something to aim for.

The 'send away' was amazing.

I thought his heeling lacked a little bit of rythym and wasn't quite side on enough. It looked a little cumbersome with the dogs head always bumping into the handlers leg. But I don't know much.

Nice work.

I found the Balabanov dvds inspiring. His dogs work like shadows.

Are these the "Obedience Without Conflict" series

Obedience without conflict - Clear Communication

Obedience without conflict - The Game

??

I thought it might be fun if we have a thread to post obedience videos we have found that are inspiring.

Here's one from me to start it off - a SchH obedience video

Looking at that really makes me want to put in some effort with Chops!

You'll notice that dodgy tracksuits are a must for Schutzhund work

Usually people from the same club have the same type of a tracksuit. Like a club uniform.

Some are more doggy than others

I think those vests are just during competitions to display the competitors number.

:laugh::laugh::rofl:

Thats why I think the thread is called INSPIRING obediecne videos

The dog seemed to be to be almost dancing but as I watched more closely he seemed to heel with one front paw raised higher than another that I think made his gait ungainly. He was really trying to steady himself. Also at nearly every sit at heel position he lifted one of his front paws. But I'm with you Luke - I've never done obedience so I'm looking at this with no comp experience - but I'd be more than happy if my dog would heel that close! Sigh - one day ...
