7point6
Hi all, I have been looking for somewhere to train my pup and haven't had much luck. I have emailed K9 force twice and haven't received any replies. (I waited 1 week before emailing the 2nd time) I am simply looking for somewhere in the area or even an hour out to train a 6 month old Sheltie. I would prefer somewhere with a set training program instead of the classes you pay $5 for and you can come and go as you please. Please send me your wise and experienced thoughts! Cheers! MonElite
Gannons Park in Peakhurst 3pm on Saturdays, but the club closes Dec to March. I think there is one in Concord and one in Homebush. but these are normal clubs where you do pay $3 and its up to you to come to classes and follow the programme You can always join this "club" http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...c=149053&hl= Edited November 4, 2008 by MonElite
Jeff Jones
K9 Force is a pretty busy man, He has to juggle dog training commitments around his interpretive dancing classes, unfortunately that doesn’t leave much time left over for him to answer emails. Have you checked out the list of clubs on the Dogs NSW website? http://www.dogsnsw.org.au/region-metro Edited November 4, 2008 by Jeff Jones
7point6
Thanks! I will take a look at the sites and will check out the forum. Googling training schools doesn't get me far unfortunately! That is ok if the company is busy. Maybe sending an out of office type of reply would be good simply to let people know. I really liked the look of the training that is why I waited for a reply. But I have decided to move on. Thanks again!
Jeff Jones
I will have a chat to K9 Force about setting up an auto reply message for his email account. I think he should have it say "I am busy either doing dog training or interpretive dancing, I will get back to you asap" he could even include a few small photos of his dancing and dog training in the auto reply message.
