ruthless
I use Photobucket and I constantly find it reduces the quality [colour and sharpness] of my pics. I'm thinking about moving. Where do you all host your pics?
persephone
ruthless- if you are on broadband, and want somewhere to put your pics- you can't go past flickr ) It has options which enable you to either have public or private 'albums'- and all sorts of other ways to display your work! it is a great community, with lots of groups...like this one A terrific spot for family /friends to view your photos. There is a free account, or a 'pro' account- annual subscription. . Edited November 1, 2008 by persephone
Tintin Jac
I use Picasa, which I find is very good for my needs. I am only an amateur though. It seems to have a very large, free capacity for storage. It is easy for friends and family to look at the pics wherever they are. You can choose to have the albums for private (you choose who) or public access. You do need a gmail account though to set it up. Picasa

ruthless
Nice pics JLC I already had a Flickr account, but the pics weren't great, so I took them all down and I'm starting again today. In this thread you can clearly see the difference between pics hosted on PB and pics hosted on Flickr.

rugerfly
Ruth, it looked weird as it was trying to shrink a huge file size, so used the medium file from flikr, its good you can do that too. Im changing

irl
I use dropshots. I like the idea of clicking on the icon down the bottom of the screen and the box pops up and then you just drag the pic over it and it sends it to your account.
