Erny
Read that link but it still doesn't make much sense Guess it is a personal chioce to do the last one or not! So what do they actually vacc against at 16 weeks? Depending on what vaccination you have elected to have (or what your Vet elected to give). Basically the 3rd of the puppy series vaccination is simply an extra of the one they had the month before. Or might include parainfluenza and bordatella (which makes up the C5 component) if you didn't have that before. Yes - it's a personal choice but an educated decision that can only be made if you read up on the options, weigh them all up and accredit them to suit what is in your opinion the best for your dog and your current situation/circumstances. Weighing up the risks is what it boils down to. Edited October 31, 2008 by Erny
Guest june.andnovas
Just spoke with the guy who runs the club I want to join and they must have the 3rd vacc so she has to be done. But this monday is graduation night so I will sign up and start Ivy the following week. Then she will have had the full seven days after the 3rd vacc. edit: she's getting her C3 tonight. Guest RosieFT
Drumbeat - I don't know if you are north or south, but the Canine Association in southern river has obedience classes running all year. $50 a year and $3 a night for lights. "The Southern River Agility and Obedience Dog Club" is one of the ones that runs out of the Canine assoc. grounds and is the one I attend. They run on school term timetable so have the school holidays as breaks.

I currently attend Northern Suburbs which is good but has a two month break over the summer.
