Miss BeRidgierent
Hello All Well over the past week Boss and Bella have picked up the most annoying little creatures. They have never had a problem before, until we took them to the beach and I am over them. Not only does it affect them, they affect me as well I have bites all over me. So I know there is a huge range of flea control treatments but I have not been able to find a poll about it, to see which one over rules the rest. I have listed all the ones I can think of so if I missed any please let me know and I will add it on. Thanks for participating!! ETA: I dont know how to add the poll Edited October 29, 2008 by ridgeback-lover
Crisovar
You really need to find out out which product is working best in your area. Fleas are becoming resistant to some of the products in use, so ask around your friends and find what is working for them. Don't forget to treat your home, their bedding and possibly your car. stormie
They say the best thing you can do is to combine one product that kills the adults, with another that interferes with the growth/development of the flea 'babies'. So for example using Sentinal with Advantage or Capstar, or Program with Advantage... Using two different methods helps to combat resistance. And then you just gotta go nuts vacuuming your house and washing bedding etc etc

The fleas had found their way into my bed, so that's where I put the cats... Fleas disappeared from both cats and bed...
