Mine normally lose a lot of coat from around August-October depending on the weather and they again at other times in the year if we have strange weather. The last time the girls blew their coat, I was vaccuming twice a day and the lounge was covered in hair, as were our clothes, car and anything else they touched. For much of the year they barely drop any coat. Mine are groomed daily to pick up any loose hairs. BigDaz Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 There will be hair on the furniture, just get a Staffy the same colour as the lounge so you don't notice how much! My two girls do shed a bit, it is not excessive but ideally a weekly vacuum is in order. We have two couches, one for guests and one for pooches and us.
