Paptacular!
For small puppies, is it a good idea to feed them chicken necks etc before their adult teeth come in, or only after they have their adult teeth?
Dory the Doted One
Speaking only for myself here...I give them a variety of bones, even the big ones give them good chewing exercise. When I say big...I don't mean HUGE...something like pieces of lamb flap or rib bones, whole chicken wings etc. What I try to avoid is bones small enough that the dog can inhale them whole. Paptacular!
Pups can have bones as soon as they can chew Thanks. I was kind of wondering about little pups hurting their baby teeth on hard bones, but I guess it should be ok.
persephone
They are dogs. Dogs chew bones. If it hurts, they will stop - they are more in tune than us humans Puppies who are teething really need bones then- to keep gums strong, help loosen/remove teeth, and keep mouth clean .
