katelouise
Hi, My dog, Dusty, is a 16 year old silky terrier and doing very well considering his age! I had him on glucosamine and that seemed to be enough for him. A month or so ago he was at the doggy doctor (vet!) because he had pancreatitis, which he has now recovered well from. However his poor old joints are becoming a little more stiff, particularly in the mornings. I wasn't sure if I should start the glucosamine again or perhaps try something like joint guard. I really want to keep him comfortable, though I don't want to cause any unwanted side affects. Does anyone know if any of these medications can affect dogs who have had pancreatitis ??? Thankyou! persephone
This is a question you need to ask your vet. yes, your vet knows your little man- and can tell you if things will be a problem or not. Hopefully all will be ok- and he can be more comfortable
