Snowysal
Can someone please tell me how much it costs to get a maltese clipped. we have two rescue Malts we saved from Hp as some of you know, and I really think they need clipping, fairly much all over. We have bathed and snipped away but with burrs on the farm and hoping to find them homes I really think all over clipping would be best.We have coats for them. Advice? Never had a dog that required much grooming before - all ours are wash n wear tough outdoorsy types. Some advice on what to expect (cost wise)so I can save towards it, would be greatly appreciated from those in the know. Would be an ACT job I would think - drop off on the way to work and pick up later . Also any great referrals on reputable places would be most appreciated. Daisy
If you ask very nicely, BittyMooPeeb might do it for you. She is not a groomer but usually does her own and other people's fosters.
Snowysal
OMG is there really an angel of grooming in Canberra , I can't believe it.. Are you terribly terribly busy BittyMooPeeb (I have no idea why I have so much trouble pronouncing your name) Are you interested in transforming two sweet little victims of neglect? There are so skinny and sweet and hopeful (6 yrs old) I really want to find them a perfect forever home.

It's a really busy time of year for me at the moment, so I'd need them brought to me, and bathed beforehand if that is OK? You are welcome to hang around and watch/make tea/play with the dogs while they are groomed, or you can drop them off and pick up after some shopping at Woden Plaza  I have Sat and Sun arvo free this weekend, or Tue and Thu evenings :-) Gail ps even if they are matted to the skin, still bath them beforehand and dry as best as you can under the mats with a hairdryer Edited September 25, 2008 by BittyMooPeeb
Snowysal
It all good Bitty Moo Peeb , theyre not matted anymore and theyve had 2 baths just the hair is not premium white and I think they would benefit from starting afresh. Ok I try and avoid ACT on weekends if I can cos I drive from Cooma every day to Belco for work. So excited. I really do appreciate this , have to work something out here. With a decent groom and a few more pounds of weight they could look like mature aged Blossums (in your sig) Edited September 25, 2008 by Snowysal
