Kaz
Does anyone know where I can go to some obedience/training sessions in the Western Suburbs, Sydney? I thought I would try my young mutt out there with the view to possibly getting involved in some sort of sport. My Bozley is a rescue mutt with some sort of bully breed in his makeup. He is highly intelligent, very active and climbs like a cat. I would like to give him some sort of extra stimulation beyond the normal walks that seem to satisfy my other dogs. I have never done any dog sports though and am not sure what is available. Any suggestions would be very welcome
Colliewood
Hi, Try this number. I think it is the correct one. They train on a Monday night going on a vague memory. At Castle Hill Show Grounds. Others may confirm. Hills District Kennel & Training Club (02) 9871 5734 Vicki Gresner Castle Hill 2154
TerraNik
Yep, Monday nights. New people start any Monday, so just rock up at 630pm on your first night. I think it's $30 to join and then $4/week. Class starts at 7pm, finishes at 8pm.
Freckles
You could also try the Blacktown Kennel club who train on Tuesday nights at Doonside. I'm starting there with my pup next month. They have intro nights on the first Tuesday of the month.

It's down the back of the showground, not on the main field - I've found this place the best near me (i had a look at a couple of places when i was looking for a club, and i liked this one the best) and it's a pretty easy going club too. Kaz
Thanks guys, will check them both out though Tuesday may be a bit awkward for me so Monday and the Hills may be the one. Does anything happen anywhere on a Saturday morning?

Kaz
Kaz asked for obedience first with a view to moving on to something like agility So every one is right. I figure Bozley shouldn't do a sport until he learns a little obedience first lol
