lilypily
It's been 5 years since I had a pup so i'm a bit rusty. When my pup has a accident inside sometimes there is no time to whip him outside when I see him sniffing for a wee as he is so darn quick. I picked him up yesterday mid wee and took him outside to finish. Should I pick him up mid wee or let him finish? Is it to late once he has started? LoremIpsum
When I caught Martha mid-wee I used to clap really loudly and she'd get startled and stop. Then I whipped her outside. I think it's better to move her, even if you leave a trail of wee to the back door!
Leema
If you can catch them mid-pee, take advantage of it! I had the problem of Clover being 'too quick', too, so I just made sure I took her out periodically (every hour or so) instead of waiting for any sniffing and circling. Ruftybear
It would be good to get some Urine Off if you haven't already. We hadn't done any toilet training here for about 7 or 8 years and this stuff is brilliant. If you can get rid of the smell and direct them to where you want them to go it makes it so much easier. It's been really helpful to us.
