Mango
Hi, I'm in Wollongong and have a 1 year old broken-coated Parson Russell Terrier. I do some running with him, and he has grown a lot more coat than I expected, so I don't want him to cook in summer. What would a typical short trim cost for a small to medium size dog around Wollongong? Any recommendations as to where to go? How long does it take for a coat to grow back in summer? Thanks so much. jemappelle
I don't know about that breed and what happens to the coat when it is clipped so hopefully others can help you with that. Are you on the south or north side of Wollongong. I have used Impeccable Pets at Woonona and been very happy with them - cost was about $40 but that was last year so may be more now. Also mine was for a Poodle trim. Best thing to do is to ring them and ask them.
k9kutz
we do clip JRT on occasions and have not had any problems. We charge $50- $60 in Syndey so i would assume you would expect to pay less than that. Hand stripping may be another option you could look into?
