Tilly
Our boy gets washed weekly in the hydrobath using just Fido's Fre-itch Rinse. I think he has only ever been washed with shampoo about a 1/2 dozen times in his entire life.
smooch
I bath Smooch several times a week as he sleeps in bed with me and running on acreage around cattle often smells. Normally I would use shampoo once a week and than if he needs to be washed I only use conditioner.
oakway
I have no mains water supply connected to where I live. I use tank water to wash the dogs. I have a baby that is changing coat so bathing every second day to get rid of the old coat and bring on the new.
Blue Fox 001
I bath the poodle once every 7 - 10 days, the GSD usually gets one a fortnight to 3 weeks. We haven't had any problems with either of them and usually use human shampoo, but doggy leave in conditioner or rehydrater. They are my guinea pigs for new products and often I'm trying something new on one or both of them, and so far haven't had any problems. I don't feel bad about water use, have spent nearly $12,000 on rainwater tanks and collect every single drop I can. I wouldn't use the rubbish town water we are supplied to wash my dog and equally wouldn't want it going through my hydrobath!
