New Age Outlaw Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 My sister has just moved to the Jimboomba area, and she is interested in recommendations for a good general vet practice somewhere around there. She has a dog and a couple of birds (cockatiels) so an avian specialist would be good too (although I told her that might be unlikely...there aren't that many of them around...she is happy to drive the birds back to their usual avian vet if necessary). Jey Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 I go to the Marsden Vet. That's about 20 minutes drive. The women who work at the desk, the vet nurses(?), are fantastic. I see them more often than I see the vets but I don't have any complaints about them either. Hopefully someone can suggests something closer if that is what she is after. Village Veterinary Care Clinic Is in Wharf Street at Logan Village. Ph. # 5546 3909. Ask to see David. He is an excellent vet. I am not sure if they have an avian specialist though.
