shekhina
I STILL don't know how to use my camera, but I don't think it can do things like that! I bet it can...but you have to have a go :p I think you will be surprised. I had the instruction manual to it and I still couldn't work it out. I suck  It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. Rocco, that's is disgusting! :D
winpara
ooh what fun! I have been looking to play with my new lens, so nice to have a purpose instead of just taking random shots! Loving the poo shoes BTW! (just thankful they don't belong to me!) ok here are my attempts from 11pm last night up the kennel on the bench! Overhead fluro light only. Camera: Nikon D40x Lens: 50mm 1.4 ISO 100 Aperture1.4 SS 1/10 - no tripod! Photoshop - crop, resize, sharpen, adjust saturation ISO 100 Aperture2.2 SS 1/8 Photoshop - crop, resize, sharpen ISO 100 Aperture1.4 SS 1/13 Photoshop - crop, resize, sharpen, adjust levels hmm... now to find some shoes! shekhina
How do you make the background fuzzy like that?
ruthless
It's cause the lens used goes to an aperture of 1.4. I think most kit lenses are around 4 or 5.6. The smaller the number, the shallower the depth of field [ie fuzzy foreground and fuzzy background!].
shekhina
Err, what? Maybe I should get the camera and try and see if it works

I love that lense! What I like best about them are the reflections & the bent prong on the fork.
