doggywoof
Hi everyone, Just wondering for those of you that give your dogs Joint Guard, have any of them had the runs because? Or had the runs when they first started having it? I started giving it to Chloe about 2 weeks ago and she has had the runs for about 5 days... No change in diet other than the Joint Guard... pebbles
I've had three of mine on Joint Guard for about 12 months and haven't had any problems.
InspectorRex
Some dogs are sensitve to sulfates and I believe Joint Guard has sulfates in them? I would be giving Human grade Glucosamine Hydrochloride powder that MicroGenics make and you can buy at health food stores
stormie
Nature Vet do say that some dogs may experience gastrointestinal upsets when first starting, similar to that of switching diets. Maybe try reducing the amount, or even go down to maintenance levels and see if that helps?
westiemum
No problems here either Cheers Westiemum

This is what our vet recommended when we started our dog on joint guard, he has a sensitive tummy and he was fine!!

j
One of my dogs has just started on it and I have noticed a few very dark softer than usual stools in the back yard. Not sure who is doing them, but I suspect it is ithe joint guard that is responsible. He is about to go down to the maintenance dose so it may settle down
Mooper
I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary for Jack, who is about to finish his second tub of Joint Guard.
