Another Computer Dummy Question

I am so glad I have this forum to ask these questions so thanks to everyone who's answered my previous ones.

New question. I took some pics of a bloke and he wants copies. He doesn't have a computer but I can burn them on either a CD or a DVD and he can look at them on his telly via a DVD player?? correct?? Must I do it onto a DVD or can he watch them on a CD. This is probably painfully obvious to you clever ones but if I dont ask I wont know.

Oh yeah, how do I tell the difference between a CD and a DVD just by looking at them, do they look different? No laughing please.

He would have to check the DVD player to see what it is compatible with (most listed everything either on the machine or in the manual).

DVD and CD usually have it written on the disc what they actually are.

A DVD holds 4.7 GB where as a CD holds 700MB (1GB = 1000MB)
