Bellnollie
Has anyone ever seen a pimple in the roll on their pug? I went to clean out the nose roll on Ollie after his dinner and there is what looks like an actual pimple there :D it's pink like on a human with a white head on it, but I am too chicken to squeeze it. Would it be a pimple or something else? Edited August 30, 2008 by bellsmum
stormie
Yep, it would be a pimple - called a 'pustule'. Relatively common in skin folds as its a perfect place for bacteria to live, being warm and moist. Keeping it clean as you are doing helps. puggy_puggy
Um yes pugs get pimples. How old is he? Get some human Phisohex facewash from the chemist and clean his face with that.

Pug Hugger
yep completely normal - Louie gets them less and less now he is over 12 months old but he still gets them here and there.
Crysti_Lei
Yeah, Herbie gets them too. i am feeding him BARf patties atm and the combination of his face shape and the grease in the patty seem to cause it more, so after he's eaten i clean his face with a cleansing wipe for sensitive skin, this also makes him smell pretty.
