Motion Sickness And Flying...

Hi, I have a 2yr old chihuahua cross who cant stand travelling in the car, he spews every time, when we go to the dog park we tie him and our staffy in the back of the ute and hes been fine... until recently hes started again.

We will be flying our dogs up north at xmas its about a 1.5 hr flight, but im worried he will spew in the crate or not be able to cope with 1.5hrs of motion sickness if he gets sick.

Has anyone else flown with dogs before that are prone to motion sickness? or is it worth having him sedated or is too drastic for a 1.5 hr flight?? help!
