I am getting the results second hand and we are only getting WA results. I have checked the Nationals website and still no results. I know WA won all three strat pairs classes, agility open A and jumping Open A and masters gamblers. I have not heard how Deb O got on with Ghillie.

Which dogs have come down from Ballarat?

We did exceptionally well for our crew (I do own Labradors, the standards aren't as high!!!), and so very very pleased! Off to watch the finals today in the rain and steward in the rain, did I mention the weather opened up!!

We have a few as far as I know. There is Pippi, Darci. Pip, Kate, Spike, Bob and there could be more.

Obedience Nationals are in WA next October and are at night.

The agility Nationals I thought were 2010 in Perth.

I have just heard from the WA crew who arrived in Melbourne yesterday - they said the weather was OK - the grounds were awful! But then we did warn them after coming home from the obedience nationals a couple of weeks ago.

Good luck everybody - and......go the tollers!

Hey Ptolomy - we got jipped for the Obed Nat's. The grounds (well - the rings I was in!) were far better than what they were for the obedience Nat's... well that was until this arvo and we had a MASSIVE dump of rain during the finals ;) What timing!

There were some great vic results - I will let the respective people tell all though! But Leo did get his JDX today :) :D!!!

AS for the state teams events... results were as follows:

1st - SA

2nd - NSW

3rd - TAS

4th - WA

5th - ACT

6th - QLD

7th - VIC

Hey Leopuppy - congratulations on your JDX title - now you get to play with the big boys in masters! :)

I got a call from the WA crew wanting to know which courier company we used to bring our stuff back following the obedience Nationals as they had 3 umbrellas, dogs beds and a truck load of dog food toget back to WA :noidea:

The agility Nationals are definitely in WA in 2010, but I don't think the month has been decided yet - in our latest K9 mag they are calling for people wanting to be on the working party.

Impatient lot aren't you :D I could make you all wait til I finish unpacking but that would be cruel wouldn't it? :)

We got 4th in the Excellent Jumping finals :p We dropped one bar because I wasn't quite in the right spot, but I didn't care. It was just bloody awesome to have qualified let alone come out with a placing :)

We had a brilliant weekend, Sat AM we got our 4th JDX pass and 2nd for a place in the finals, Sat PM we got our JDX title and 4th place. Sun AM we blew a beautiful JDX course with some dumbarse handling but it got rid of the ferals for both of us! :)

To top it off we also ended up with Best Victorian for Excellent Jumping! :)

Weather was brilliant for the 1st day and a half, but yesterday was a shocker once that wind and wet came in. I feel sorry for anyone who had to run in the pouring rain but all that praying to the agility weather gods must've paid off for me because our final was rain free

I wonder if that agility weather god will oblige for just one more day so I can get all my gear dried and de-muddied ;)

Hey well done LP - I didn't realise it was Leo's title, we can both start on those scary JDM courses :rofl:

You can check out the results here as they are added.

Pippi was a star yesterday in Open Jumping :)

Pippi's Mum and Miss Pippi were definitely stars in Open Jumping on Friday for their first Open Jumping pass :D :rofl: :p Funnily enough I remember someone saying not that long ago that her dog doesn't do distance :):) Can't think who that would've been

They also had a lovely run in Excellent Agility yesterday just missing out on a pass.

Jess's run in the final was awesome to watch, I checked the results and your run was the fastest.

Another Victorian that did very well in the finals was Tara from agility dog club who was 3rd in Novice jumping final with her little Poodle who flew around the course in style.

Congratulations to Leo on the title, Tassie had some success too when she gets back on here.

Was also great to see a Brittany in the Masters agility final, especially as there were only 5 Brittanys running.

Edited to add -- I won --- the raffle on Saturday. Reg Dwyer donated agility equipment so I took that prize in the form of a hoop. He has just started selling the equipment and it looks great. When we did our jumping run on Saturday I didn't even know if Tilly would remember what a tyre was after so long (she did) but I won't have any excuses now LOL
