oceanaussi
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'd like to enter my dog in a show which is a bit out of town as I was planning to extend my weekend there. At the same time the CCCQ holds a Canine Health Clinic. Are these Health Clinics held regulary? Are they better & cheaper than going to a specialist? My pup is only 7 months old - I'm not planning to use him as a stud before he's 2 years old anyway, so there'd be plenty of time. Any opinions? puggy_puggy
What are you wanting your dog checked out for? In general cheap vets are fine for run of the mill things like vaccinations, microchipping and desexing but whne it come to specalised problems I would also consult a specalist. wylie
The CCCQ Health days are run approximately monthly. If you are needing vaccinations microchipping or DNA testing done they are the cheapest alternative rather than going thru your vet. Lots of members use them without hassle. Cheapest vaccinations available on the whole in the state. I have used them for vaccinations, microchipping and DNA testing without hassle and will continue to use them. Check the journal for dates and times and prices. I know one coming up is doing heart and eye testing as well but has to be booked well in advance. It is only a cheap alternative due to the fact that members utilise the service. They are still specialists in there field for eyes and heart.
