schnauzer_luv
I used Elice Moran in gwynneville a couple of times Charliesmum, she specialises in small breeds. Her number is in the yellow pages. I now groom my dogs (or try to) myself as clipping a schnauzer involves alot of personal taste I've discovered
Crisovar
There really is no necessity to clip a L/H Chihuahua, just regular brushing and bathing will take care of loose hair. There is no benefit to them in summer, just a bit easier for the owner.

I agree, why get a long coat if you clip it Using a hydrobath and a dryer should help get that extra loose coat out
honeychild
I wouldnt clip it personally. It will never grow back the same. The long coat is so pretty!
charlies_mum
i didnt know that about their coats never growing back the same way. he is such a pretty dog (even though he is very masculine ) i thought he would get too hot in the summer time but i suppose last summer even in the middle of the day he would lie out in the blazing sun on his back with a big grin on his face and refused to come in to the shade even though he was panting thanks for your help everyone
