Kayne has not being well since we got him.

Constant colic and vomiting.

we've done all the main blood tests, including EPI. No problems there.

He is now on Hills Ultra Z/D.Tin and Kibble.

No vomiting and poos have firmed up. ;)

Problem is, he is bored with the food. I would be also.

There's no way I can use ZD as treats when training him.

I can introduce one new food a week to start the ellimination process. We know that at present, he cannot eat Roo nor beef meat. Nor can he have any dairy products.

Only organic chicken can be offered as regular chicken is loaded with hormones, antibiotics, etc.

I'm only too willing to bake, steam, whatever.

Any ideas would be grately appreciated.

Actually if you are using the tin stuff u can make it into treats.

Cut thin slices from the loaf and then dry it off in the microwave for about 5-7 minutes. It dries really well and then you are not breaking his diet at all its just in a different form.

how about tinned fish? a puppy needs protein!

Thought of it but what is in the tin? preservatives, colour? I can't risk it.

Could I maybe steam a couple of fish fillets for him?

Carrots - he loves raw carrots. Could start off dicing it and adding it to his meals.

Re treats. I'll do that. thank you.

the fish markets in Sydney sell Carp which are cheap as dirt (I think under $5 a kilo) great eating fish and its flesh is more meaty. Why not try some of that, oven bake the whole fish then flake off the meat
