Karen62
I have 2 - 4 month old Dobe puppies that have developed a taste for passionfruit. Find them, run around and throw them, tease each other with them and then eat them, squish them until the pulp oozes ou and suck on that then chew the skin up. Have searched the internet and cannot find out if they are harmful to the pups at all. Do they pose a threat to the health of the puppies??? Thankyou Karen
KitKat
As long as they don't eat too much of the shell of them they should be fine - my GSD's have always done this...either they beg for the lil sacs of passionfruit seed from my hand...or they self serve off of the vine, make a hole in it and lick out the insides. Hasn't hurt them any nor caused the runs or anything else like that. About all you can do is try and snaffle the fruit off of the vine before they tempt the pups ;)
TerraNik
My pup loves passionfruit yoghurt... I did the same as you and checked the internet - found nothing. He has been fine, so I figure it's alright! (Not that he gets it very often!!!)
peigirl
Nothing worthwhile to contribute re passionfruit but it sounds like it would be very cute to watch ;)
Crisovar
You may find passion fruit vines growing in places you didn't plant them in a few months time. My dogs do it all the time, they love them.
natzs
My Chis steal them of the vines and play with them like balls, then they eat them they have done so for the last 2 years and they seem fine for it.
