GSDhandler Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 i tend to use chicken necks as a treat, but i have to be careful cuase my 10 wk old would eat them whole. now that shes 12 wks i am starting to feed her larger things. um, i would throw a few into the bowl, and reduce the kibble a little... personally 1/4 cup per 2-3 necks, but thats just my preffenrence since i am still convincing my pup to play nice. apparantly to prevent them eating them whole you can freeze them, but then you have to remember in this weather to keep the pup plenty warm.
