Penny&Henry'sMum
Hi, I'm hoping to find a good trainer who will do in-home visits. I have 2 dogs - a dachshund and a new dog who might be a bearded collie x. In terms of the outcomes that I am after: We need to work on completely different things for both of them, which is why I think a trainer at home might be best. (feel free to tell me if you think this is incorrect ) The dachshund is well trained, but is becoming increasingly reserved and even slightly fearful despite being very well treated and well socialised her whole life (she goes everywhere, meets other dogs and people, even goes to Doggy Daycare sometimes). She was attacked at the park by 2 other dogs about 12 months ago, and I may have underestimated the impact that this would have on her. The new dog completely lacks any doggie manners and is so excited whenever you go near him that I'm really struggling to get him to focus. Yes, this is also the dog who is quite keen on eating dog poos (see other thread) I live in Melbourne in the inner west. Can people recommend anybody? Thanks  Edited July 5, 2008 by Penny&Henry'sMum
